Repair Damaged Database

Return to Table of Contents

Selecting this routine causes the system to exit to the operating system and perform a series of recovery operations on your files. It is used in the event your files have become damaged due to a hardware problem. The process could take several hours, depending on the size of your files and on the speed of your machine. Make sure you have several million bytes of free space on your disk (for work space) before you select this function. It is a good idea to backup your files before you attempt to run this program. In the event that the system is unable to recover the damaged files, contact FCC. You can repair the database using Microsoft Access or send the files to our offices to be recovered.
